SewerVUE News Release – November 2010
November 3, 2010
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Groundbreaking GPR Software Development for Pipe Penetrating Radar
This new software interpretation module allows users to open an existing processed PPR scan profile and also open another parallel scan profile measured at an adjacent clock position. Both profiles can accommodate back and forth scrolling and resizing. Unique as well, is the ability to open the appropriate “snakeskin” CCTV and apply the layer to a model. The final feature that will enable engineers to clearly see the existing conditions of the pipe is the auto-picking and transparent draw capabilities that allows viewing of the original GPR data and the SewerVUE interpretation simultaneously.

Meet us at INFRA 2010
SewerVUE will be presenting their PPR technology at INFRA 2010, Integrated Management of Municipal Infrastructures to Promote Sustainable Development, November 15 to 17 at the Hilton Bonaventure, Montreal Quebec, Canada. The 16th edition of the INFRA Convention will bring together more than 1,000 participants to learn about case studies, research and new technology that can serve as examples in implementing optimal strategies for maintaining infrastructure assets.
ABOUT SEWERVUE – SewerVUE’s patent-pending in-pipe GPR inspection technology gathers and interprets, on commercial scale, the data needed to assess pipe wall thickness, rebar cover, and outside voids. This critical information allows owners and consultants to model service life and plan remediation and rehabilitation of large diameter underground pipes and related infrastructure.
SewerVUE continues to seek Pilot Projects throughout North America.
